NextDoorScore™, powered by SEOuP, is a local-business visibility and comparison service. This policy explains how NextDoorScore™ accesses, uses, stores, and shares information, including information obtained through Google services when a business owner connects a Google account.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, and authentication details.
- Business information such as business name, address, website, category, public listing information, and claim information.
- Google account information that you authorize us to access, including basic profile information.
- Google Business Profile data that you authorize us to access, such as managed business accounts, locations, and related profile information.
- Google Search Console data that you authorize us to access, such as verified site properties and search-performance information available through the requested read-only scope.
- Usage, device, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use Google user data
We use authorized Google data only to provide the features you request, including connecting a business to its Google presence, identifying eligible business locations and Search Console properties, producing visibility reports, and helping you understand local search performance. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence models.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We may disclose information to service providers that operate infrastructure or provide necessary services on our behalf, under contractual and security controls, and when required by law. We do not transfer Google user data for purposes unrelated to the functionality described above.
Storage and security
We use HTTPS in transit and appropriate access controls and encryption for sensitive credentials. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted before storage. Access to connected Google data is limited to the application functions and personnel who need it to provide or protect the service.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and business information while it is needed to provide the service or meet legitimate legal and security requirements. You may disconnect Google access through your NextDoorScore™ account or through your Google Account security settings. When an account or connection is deleted, we remove associated credentials and data according to our retention procedures, subject to information we are required to retain.
Your choices
You can review or revoke Google access at any time through your Google Account. You can also request correction or deletion of information associated with your NextDoorScore™ account.
Cookies and similar technologies
NextDoorScore™ may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, session management, and service functionality. We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising.
Third-party services
NextDoorScore™ may use infrastructure, payment, analytics, hosting, and other service providers needed to operate the platform. Their handling of information is governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.
