“Avoid this yard if you value your time, professionalism, or basic customer service. I’ve been working with Copart for years across many locations, and I have never experienced anything as frustrating and unprofessional as Copart St. Cloud over the past couple of months.
First of all — double and triple check every document they hand you. Mistakes happen constantly, and fixing their errors can waste hours or even days of your time. Instead of helping resolve issues, they often make you feel like everything is somehow your fault or your transporter’s fault.
This is also the only Copart location I’ve personally dealt with that refuses to release vehicles without extremely strict trailer and appointment requirements, and even if you DO arrive properly prepared with a trailer, don’t expect things to go smoothly. If you don’t have an appointment, they simply will not help you — even when the yard is nearly empty. No flexibility, no understanding, no willingness to work with customers.
Making an appointment is almost impossible unless you somehow catch an available slot before around 2 PM. Miss that window and you’re basically out of luck for the day. It does not matter how far you drove or how much money and time you already invested.
Phone support is equally unpleasant. Best case scenario, they won’t be rude. More realistically, they’ll blame you, your driver, or anyone except themselves. Trying to communicate with them feels pointless — nobody wants to listen, nobody wants to help, and nobody seems interested in treating customers like human beings.
This location will absolutely drain your energy, patience, and schedule if you let it. Plan everything far in advance, expect delays, and be prepared for unnecessary complications at every step. If you buy from this yard, make appointments a week ahead and expect the process to take much longer than it should.”

“These people are the worst. Sophie hung up on me when calling to speak with Michelle polasky. The tow truck driver stole parts from my brand new car and then drove it with zero coolant. After Michelle emailed that tow truck driver started and drove my car with zero coolant i called to speak to her directly I was told she was on conference call. Said thats fine I'll wait on hold I was hung up on. Hour later no response so I call again, new lady answers this time, extremely rude, told me not to call every hour. (Only 2nd time calling ever) wouldn't let me speak without talking over me. Still radio silence. No response email, no call back. These people are scum of the earth.”
